What we collect
- The questions you ask HachikoLove.
- Your feedback ratings (the thumbs up or thumbs down) and any comments you choose to share.
- Your email address — only if you choose to subscribe to our newsletter.
What we do not collect
- Your name.
- Your pet's name.
- Your location.
- Any other personal identifying information.
We do not ask, we do not store, we do not need it to answer a question about your pet.
How we use what we collect
- To improve our answers and make HachikoLove more helpful over time.
- To send our newsletter to the people who have asked for it.
- To understand which topics matter most to pet owners, so we can write better content.
We do not sell anything to anyone.
Google AdSense and Google Analytics
We use Google AdSense to show advertisements on HachikoLove. Ads help keep this site free for everyone. We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use HachikoLove so we can keep making it better.
Google may use cookies to show you ads that are relevant to your interests. You can review or opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your Google Ads Settings. You can also turn off cookies in your browser.
Third-party services
To answer your questions, we use two outside services:
- Anthropic — the AI that writes the answers you read.
- Voyage AI — the search engine that finds the right information behind each answer.
When you ask a question, the text of your question is sent to these services so they can do their work. We do not send them anything about who you are.
How long we keep data
Feedback comments and the log of questions asked are kept for up to twelve months. After that, they are deleted. We do not archive them. We do not sell them.
Your rights
If you ever want us to delete anything we have stored about you or that came from you, email hachikolove22@gmail.com. We will take care of it — no friction, no forms, no explanations needed.
